Room responsibilities

Shared comfort

Quiet hours, designated gear storage and reasonable occupancy protect the scale of the house. Guests are responsible for their room keys, personal belongings and any additional cleaning caused by avoidable damage.

  • Use ground-floor storage for wet or muddy equipment.
  • Ask before moving lodge furniture between rooms.
  • Report maintenance needs promptly so they can be addressed.
  • Keep hallways and stairs clear at every hour.

Dog policy

Selected dog-friendly rooms

Dogs are welcomed only in designated rooms arranged before arrival. They remain supervised, leashed in shared areas and off beds and upholstered lodge furniture.

  • Bring bedding, food and cleanup supplies.
  • Use the signed outdoor relief route.
  • Do not leave a dog alone if it is likely to bark or become distressed.
  • Additional cleaning needs are discussed directly and locally.

Service dogs

Access with dignity

Service dogs assisting a guest are welcomed throughout the lodge as required for access. Staff may ask only the limited, appropriate questions needed to understand the work or task the dog performs.

  • No pet fee applies to a working service dog.
  • The dog remains under the handler's control.
  • Normal responsibility for actual damage still applies.
  • Questions can be discussed privately before arrival.

Dogs at the Lodge

Questions are welcome before arrival. Clear expectations make a small lodge work well for room guests, dog handlers, service-dog teams and the resident staff.
